About us

The Northeast Florida Echocardiography Society (NEFES) is a dynamic and collaborative

organization dedicated to advancing the field of echocardiography within the Northeast Florida

region. Comprising a passionate community of cardiologists, echocardiography specialists,

sonographers, and trainees, NEFES aims to promote excellence in

cardiovascular imaging and foster optimal patient care through cutting-edge practices and

continuous education.

NEFES mission is to enhance the understanding and application of echocardiography 

techniques for the accurate diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions. By

facilitating knowledge sharing and professional networking, NEFES strives to raise career 

fulfillment amongst its members to elevate the standard of cardiac imaging and

cardiovascular health in the local community.
